What to Expect at Your Trial Class

Classes are split by age so everyone can learn and progress safely at their own pace:

  • Ages 4–6: Learn balance, coordination, and confidence through fun obstacle courses and games. Sessions Thursdays 5:30pm and Saturdays 10am

  • Ages 7–12: Build parkour fundamentals like vaults, rolls, and jumps in a high-energy, supportive environment. Sessions Monday-Saturday

  • Ages 13+: Learn beginner parkour skills while building strength and body control to confidently move through any environment. Sessions on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday

In your trial session you will:

  1. Meet our team and get a personal tour of our facility
  2. Active warm up and conditioning
  3. Parkour Skill Instruction: Get specific instruction and drills on a couple parkour skills
  4. Games and Coursing: Apply the skills you’ve learned in creative, playful ways!

No experience needed — just come ready to move and have fun!

Open Gym

*To participate in open gym, you must have attended a trial class first. 

Open Gym is your time to move freely, explore, and practice what inspires you most. Whether you’re refining skills from class, training flips, or creating your own challenges, this unstructured time lets you take ownership of your progression. Coaches are available for safety supervision and guidance, but the focus is on self-directed practice.

It’s perfect for anyone looking to:

  • Work on specific skills at their own pace

  • Train with friends in a supportive community

  • Apply what they’ve learned in classes in a creative was

  • Work on our level up skills and cards

  • Build strength, flow, and confidence through independent movement

What age groups do you serve?

We accept kids as young as 4 years old. Each of our sessions are split up by both AGE and SKILL level.

We have weekly sessions for:

  • 4-6 Kids
  • 7-12 Kids
  • 13+ Teens and Adults
I've never done anything like this before, can I still do it?

Definitely! Our classes cater to all individuals, regardless of experience level. We adopt a gradual progression approach, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed. Our aim is to expand the reach of parkour, and our program is tailored to be inclusive and welcoming to beginners. We encourage everyone to attend our Trial Class, during which the instructor will guide you through the subsequent stages of your journey.

Is the facility safe?

The facility is designed to prepare you for any environment and provide a controlled learning environment.  As such, we teach our students to learn how to assess risk and you learn their limits, as we believe relying on padding does more harm than good (there’s no padding in the real world!). It is our job to teach you to keep yourself safe with proper movements and techniques.

What should I wear/bring?

Dress for movement and play! Athletic Clothes like tshirt, shorts, and closed-toe athletic shoes are all you need! 

If it’s hot or cold out, dress for the weather as the gym space may be warm or cool depending on the outside temperature.

I don't like sports, will I like parkour?

It’s a familiar scenario – some students don’t connect with traditional sports and end up feeling uninspired, turning to excessive screen time at home. At Swift, parkour feels like a real-life video game! Without the daunting rules and expectations of conventional sports, kids and adults alike explore new ways of using their bodies, thriving as they climb, swing, flip, and more. While we don’t offer completely free trial classes, we do offer a heavily discounted first-time drop-in rate of over 50% off. Yes! We have dedicated seating areas just for parents and caregivers. We want you to see the magic firsthand—how our coaches teach more than just flips and vaults. You’ll witness lessons in discipline, confidence, fitness, and real personal growth. We believe parkour is a journey the whole family can be excited about.
